Hi,
We are travelling in a group of 6 adults and 4 kids (below 10 yrs).
We are thinking of renting a MPV and do self tour.
Is it easy to do self tour to Kundasang? Where can we find map to drive ourselves?
What about Sapi Island? Do we need a tour operator or it is easy to self tour?
Any interesting places for kids?

Thanks.

Have been there a few times. If you've booked into a place like Sutra Harbor resort it is all there for you and the kids. The island cruises are a good day trip.Beware of early morning walks along the Boardwalk (where the bars and restaurants are). Last time we were there it stunk to high heaven; it was evident that the cigar fish were biting.Tunku Abdul Rahman Nature Reserve is a short boat ride away for excellent snorkelling and general chilling on the beaches . . . acceptable food at the island restaurants as well. If kids in your family are experienced hikers, climb Mt. Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Southeast Asia 4,095m (13,445 ft).

My experience over a neatly arranged and well-provisioned Honeymoon bed breakfast was interesting.
