New Years Day 2010! Need ideas/tips

Hello to all!

My friends and I have a '8' hour layover in Zurich on our way back to the US from India on the 1st.

I read some things online that it is possible to do a sweep of the city with this amount of time!

However, it being NYD; what should be concerned with? Public transport/etc?

Thoughts on the best way to go about it???
