My wife and I have decided on the Amsterdam for our first trip to Aruba thanks to all the insights fiom this forum! We are now trying to decide on a 1 bedroom with ground floor patio or 2 bedroom with better ocean view, breeze and privacy. Would appreciate opinions on how much better the view and breeze is on the 2nd floor and if it justifies the extra expense. Also, any suggestions for a room location request? We want a room that has some quiet on the balcony/patio ( ie not overlooking pool or ). Thanks!

I have been to Amsterdam last year and stayed at The Eden Amsterdam American Hotel. It is a beautiful historic monument in the Art Deco style. Near the hotel, you will find many designer shops, the Vondelpark, museums and bars. Café Americain in the hotel is a perfect meeting place for breakfast, lunch, high tea or a pleasant dinner in a splendid interior.I really enjoyed my trip there. Hope you will try this one.

Regards!

My experience over a neatly arranged and well-provisioned Honeymoon bed breakfast was interesting.
